The Kalleske family have been living and working on their Barossa farm for over 150 years. Their love for their 120-acre vineyard runs deep, as they work both organically and biodynamically, seeing themselves as caretakers of the land for the future generations of Kalleske’s. This is a wonderful winter wine and we loved how it went with so many of our cheeses! The powerful aromas are so evocative of Christmas – cinnamon, musk, blueberry and liquorice. There is a subtle saltiness on the palate with dark fruits, seductive tannins and a rich fruitcake like mouthfeel. Perfect for a fireside cheeseboard.

Our house wine selection has been curated by Alistair Cooper, Master of Wine. We're big believers that the importance of great wine when it comes to great cheese cannot be understated, and as such have selected these wines after hours and hours of scrutiny (and fun), to be all rounders for pairing with our cheese.
