Try if you like:
classic British territorial cheeses
Not to be confused with Knightrider, Kit Calvert is a classic territorial Wensleydale. It ticks all the boxes - made with milk from local farms, all from the heart of the Yorkshire Dales plus it's cloth bound and matured for at least 4 months which gives it a more rounded flavour and buttery texture than younger Wensleydales. Kit comes in 500g wholes
Shout out to Mr Calvert himself who was responsible for saving the Wensleydale creamery in 1935 when it was due to be closed down by turning it into a farmers collective. You deserve to have a cheese named after you.
So pleased we got through 100 words on Wensleydale without mentioning Wallace. or Gromit.
TCG Top Tip: Try with a light summery beer - pale ale /session ipa - nothing too hoppy or it will overpower the flavours
