An incredible award winning year for our ‘Genesis’ range: cheesegeek’s exclusive cheeses
A few years ago, we set out to work with some of the finest cheesemakers in the UK to produce our very own range of cheesegeek exclusive cheeses, which we named The Genesis range. 2024 was the first year that we submitted the cheeses for expert scrutiny via two of the most prestigious awards in the calendar. The Great Taste Awards and the World Cheese Awards.
With judging panels made up of some of the most experienced and knowledgeable industry experts, we knew it was a very important step for us. We therefore couldn’t be happier with how the year went, with all of our cheeses receiving the highest acclaim.
1* Great Taste Award, 2024
Our gouda style cheese, won 1* at the Great Taste Awards, meaning ‘great flavour’ and placing it in in the top quarter of all entries.

Gold Medal, World Cheese Awards, 2024
Our brie-style cheese won a prestigious GOLD medal at the World Cheese Awards, placing it well within the top 10% of 5,000 international cheeses. A score of at least 31/35 (exact score not disclosed) means the cheese is almost perfect according the expert judging panel.
