Say Raclette and your mind drifts to the alps. It’s been a long day on the slopes, you can’t feel your toes...then you remember the whole reason you came skiing. The glorious melted cheese is peppered with potatoes, cornichons, and charcuterie. Ogleshield is our British equivalent and the West Country's answer to raclette. Made by Montgomery’s (yes, the cheddar guys) it's aromatic with a real depth of flavour - we get hints of onion soup, maybe even chicken gravy. All we know for sure is, it melts like a dream. No arguments, it’s a definite winter warmer (and no need to go skiing to try it).

Delivery is FREE and it comes in a climate control box (the only in the industry) that comes with a 48 hour freshness guarantee. If that wasn't enough, we also add an insert that will talk you through the info on the cheeses, tasting notes and a scorecard to help you make the very most of your festive cheesegeek delivery.

Meet the Maker

Since 1911, the Montgomery family have been lovingly crafting their traditional farmhouse cheddar from their farm in Somerset. The team use raw milk and pint starter to create their eponymous cheddar as well as Jersey milk to make their raclette style cheese Ogleshield.
